Mars has just released a new Twix spread, giving chocolate fans who are bored of Nutella another treat to slather on toast or eat straight out of the jar.
The smooth chocolate and caramel spread sprinkled with crunchy biscuit pieces is currently available in ASDA stores, where it's on sale for £2.00 ($2.90) for a 200g jar.
Mars plans to sell the Twix spread at supermarkets across the UK, according to the Evening Standard.
Other spreadable treats from Mars including Milky Way, Bounty, and Maltesers are also available in supermarkets.
Of course, people on the internet are getting excited about spreadable Twix.

I've received word that you can get twix spread, like Nutella but twix. This warrants further investigation not to mention rigorous testing.

Though others are cautious of the spread's nutritional value... Yes, more than half a tub of the Twix spread is sugar, and a 200g jar contains 1,122 calories.

Nevertheless, the company has some tempting tasting ideas for the spreads. "They are best enjoyed as a tasty treat, spread over warm toast or a crumpet, dunked with a breadstick, or topped on a cake or waffle,"the confectionery giant told Mashable.
However you have it, the spread sounds delicious.
